Privacy Notice (How we use customer information)

The categories of this information that we collect, process, hold and share include:
• personal information (such as name, contact number and address)

Why we collect and use this information
We use data to:
• enable us to contact the customer regarding an enquiry or planned work
• enable us to carry out the work requested
• enable us to invoice for the work completed at the end of the work

Collecting this information
The majority of information you provide to us is mandatory to enable us to complete the work. In order to comply with the data protection legislation, we will inform you whether you are required to provide certain information to us or if you have a choice in this.

Storing this information
• Where a job has been completed and invoiced for, we will hold the data for 6 years to comply with tax regulations.
• Where a job has been quoted for but no confirmation is received regarding the acceptance of the work, the data will be held of 1 year.
• Where a job has been quoted for and confirmation has been received that the customer does not wish to go ahead with the work, the data will be immediately destroyed.

Who we share this information with
We routinely share information with:
• our Accountant for accountancy and tax purposes – Figures Accountancy Services, Figures House, 24 Brighton Road, Salfords, Surrey RH1 5BX

We do not share information to any other third party without consent unless the law and our policies allow us to do so.
